Tommy Robinson ‘threatened people and acted like a bully’, jury told
Prosecution says Robinson guilty of harassment of Daily Mail journalists because we do not live in a ‘vigilante world’
Tommy Robinson is guilty of harassing two journalists because we do not live in a “vigilante world”, jurors have been told, as the prosecution sought to use the far-right activist’s words against him.
Robinson had posted a video in which he told Daily Mail journalists he would find them after they wrote about his alleged role influencing England’s 2024 riots. He told them he had obtained details of where they and their families lived and warned them to abide by “men’s rules”.

Nobody wants a side of broken glass with their dinner. Unfortunately, that’s the concern behind the latest food recall, and it’s not the first time this year shoppers have been warned about glass potentially lurking in their food.
Colorado-based Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets has recalled Natural Grocers Brand mung beans after customers complained about finding glass fragments in the product.
It joins the likes of Pillsbury and Trader Joe’s, both of which recalled products due to potential glass contamination earlier this year.
As of the Thursday, October 22, recall notice, no illnesses or injuries have been reported. However, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns that “ingesting glass fragments may cause injury to the consumer, and these injuries may include damage to teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat, or perforation of the intestine.”
What products are affected?Just the Natural Grocers Brand Organic 2-Pound Mung Beans are included in the recall. The recalled products have the following information:
- UPC: 000080112600
- Pack dates: 26-160, 26-173, 26-196, 26-224, and 26-258
The mung beans come in clear plastic bags. Pack dates are visible in the label’s lower left corner.
Where and when was the product sold?According to the FDA announcement, the affected lots may have been shipped to the following states:
- Arkansas
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Iowa
- Idaho
- Kansas
- Louisiana
- Minnesota
- Missouri
- Montana
- North Dakota
- Nebraska
- New Mexico
- Nevada
- Oklahoma
- Oregon
- South Dakota
- Texas
- Utah
- Washington
- Wisconsin
Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets directs customers to not consume any of the recalled mung beans. Instead, discard the product or bring it back to the store to receive a full refund or credit.

Show HN: Searching for optimal strategies in a puzzle game with chance (Drop7)
Sixteen years ago, I wrote a Java program which tried to pick the ideal move in a puzzle game called Drop7. On each turn, the player only has seven choices for their next move, but there is also an element of chance which turns this simple game into a surprisingly difficult problem involving search, hidden information, long-term planning, and chance.
I renewed my investigation this weekend, into whether there is an autonomous strategy that averages more than one million points per game. An experienced human player can score a million points with long-term strategic thinking, but the best automated strategies I could come up with are currently averaging around 300k-400k points. One of the easiest ways to contribute to advancing this research is to compete on the global leaderboard and submit your human strategy - https://drop7.dev/compete.
This project has also been an enlightening experiment into using agents as research collaborators and evidence collectors.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from people who are knowledgeable in game theory, stochastic planning, learned value functions, or heavy-tailed evaluation. How would you approach long-horizon action ranking here? I’d also love to hear whether the research makes sense to someone encountering the project for the first time.
