Officers removed tents inside a pro-Palestinian encampment at the University of Virginia after the school declared the encampment an unlawful assembly. CNN's Polo Sandoval has more.

Pro-Palestinian protesters briefly disrupted and were subsequently removed from the University of Michigan's commencement ceremony in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is unclear if anyone was arrested or detained. CNN has reached out to Michigan State Police for comment.

Colleges and universities will be holding their graduation ceremonies after a wave of pro-Palestinian protests across the US. Several schools have enhanced security measures as they prepare for commencement ceremonies.

Protesters interrupted the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance commencement ceremony Friday, according to video from CNN affiliate the Richmond Times-Dispatch. CNN has reached out to the University of Michigan and its School of Music, Theatre & Dance for comment.
