World health officials are hearing about more cases of an inflammatory disease similar to Kawasaki disease in a few countries and regions, including the United States and Europe, the WHO says.
Cuomo said the beaches will be limited to 50% capacity. Concession stands will be closed and contact activities, including sports, such as volleyball, are prohibited. Public pools will remain closed, he said.

Cuomo signed a "New York State on PAUSE" executive order on March 20 that closed nonessential businesses and ordered residents to adopt social distancing measures. That order will expire on Friday.

Bright said doctors and nurses in the nation's hospitals are relying on N95 respirators that were procured in other countries but don't meet U.S. safety standards.
But negative interest rates wouldn't be "very helpful" to the economy, said Zach Pandl, co-head of global foreign exchange, rates and emerging markets strategy at Goldman Sachs.
